Ola Electric launches ‘End ICE Age’ campaign to promote EV shift

Ola Electric has launched a nationwide campaign called #EndICEAge to encourage riders across India to move away from petrol-powered two-wheelers and adopt electric vehicles, The Economic Times reported.

The initiative highlights the rising cost of petrol and the inconvenience of frequent refuelling, urging consumers to shift from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to electric mobility.

As part of the campaign, the company is offering benefits worth over Rs 20,000 for customers purchasing a new Ola S1 scooter or Ola Roadster motorcycle. The limited-period offer, available for three days until March 16, includes a Rs 10,000 cash discount and an extended eight-year battery warranty valued at up to Rs 15,000.

The company has also introduced a social media initiative inviting new customers to share their switch from petrol to electric vehicles. Buyers who purchase an Ola Electric two-wheeler between now and March 16 can upload their last month’s petrol bills on social media, tag the company and use the campaign hashtag.

According to the company, three selected participants each day will have their petrol expenses adjusted against the cost of their new electric vehicle purchase.

A company spokesperson said the campaign aims to encourage people to move away from petrol-based mobility and embrace electric transportation. The spokesperson added that the company’s electric scooters and motorcycles offer a cleaner and more economical commuting option.

The company recently unveiled the Champions Edition of its flagship Ola S1 Pro+ scooter and Ola Roadster X+ motorcycle, powered by its 4680 Bharat Cell. The special edition was introduced to celebrate India’s third title win at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The limited Champions Edition models will be available at company stores and online until the end of April 2026.
