NTPC Green Energy Limited has expanded its renewable portfolio with the commissioning of additional solar and wind capacities in Gujarat, the company said in a regulatory filing.
A 37.5 MW solar capacity, part of a 150 MW project, has begun commercial operations from April 2, 2026. In addition, 13.2 MW of wind capacity under a hybrid project has also been declared operational from the same date.
Both projects are being executed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.
With the latest addition, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group has increased to 10,126.40 MW from 10,075.70 MW.
The development marks a further step in the company’s ongoing expansion of renewable energy projects across the country.
