LONGi Hydrogen has secured the winning bid for the Uxin Banner Integrated Wind–Solar–Hydrogen Production Project, a major initiative by Sinopec’s Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Co., Ltd. The contract, awarded following a comprehensive evaluation, includes the supply of 24 sets of 1000 Nm³/h alkaline electrolyzers.
This partnership follows the successful Sinopec Kuqa Green Hydrogen Project and marks another significant collaboration between LONGi Hydrogen and Sinopec, reinforcing the company’s reputation in water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment and its trusted position in the green hydrogen sector.
Large-Scale Project to Drive Green Transformation of Coal Chemical Industry
The Uxin Banner project is designed to produce 30,000 tons of green hydrogen annually and will feature the installation of 48 new 1000 Nm³/h alkaline electrolyzers—making it one of the largest single alkaline electrolyzer procurements in China. The green hydrogen will support Zhongtian Hechuang Energy’s low-carbon transformation, helping decarbonize the coal-to-olefins industrial chain.
Together with the Sinopec Kuqa Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project, the Uxin Banner project has been included in the first batch of hydrogen pilot projects by China’s National Energy Administration, setting a benchmark for industrial-scale green hydrogen applications in the energy sector.
