KPI Green Energy awarded major 200 MW solar project

KPI Green Energy has secured a large new contract to build a 200 megawatt solar power plant. The project was granted by SJVN Limited, a government-owned power company, reports Scanx.

The agreement for the solar farm, which is worth about 696.5 crore rupees, will see it constructed at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. This project represents a key opportunity for KPI Green Energy to grow its business in India’s expanding clean energy market.

The development of this sizable solar plant supports the country’s broader goals to increase its use of renewable sources for electricity. Such large-scale initiatives are vital for helping India achieve its clean energy objectives and move toward more sustainable power generation.
