HydrogenPro and J.H.K. have formed an exclusive partnership to advance green hydrogen projects in several European countries, including Germany, Austria, and the Benelux region. Under the terms of the collaboration, HydrogenPro will provide its cutting-edge high-pressure alkaline electrolyser technology, while J.H.K. will take on the role of plant integrator and EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contractor. J.H.K. will also manage project implementation and ensure successful delivery to customers.
The partnership will focus on green hydrogen projects with capacities ranging from 5 to 50 MW. By combining HydrogenPro’s expertise in electrolysis technology with J.H.K.’s deep experience in balance of plant and EPC services, the collaboration aims to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy across Europe.
The European green hydrogen market is expanding rapidly, driven by increasing investments and the launch of new projects across the region. In September 2024, Infener joined forces with the city of Gengenbach to develop a 20 MW green hydrogen hub in Germany, expected to produce up to 2,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually. In the same month, Iberdrola and bp gave the green light to a 25 MW green hydrogen plant in Spain.
