Greenzo Energy has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RBM Infracon Limited to develop green hydrogen facilities with a total capacity of 15 MW in Jamnagar, Kutch, and Bhuj, Gujarat. This project, supported by an investment of ₹200 crore, is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25 and will be rolled out in phases over the next 18 months.
Greenzo Energy will be responsible for the design, development, engineering, procurement, and commissioning of the facilities. These sites will utilize the company’s proprietary alkaline electrolyzer units, each with a capacity of 5 MW, along with necessary separation, purification, and storage systems.
Sandeep Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Greenzo Energy, remarked on the partnership, stating, “This MoU with RBM Infracon reflects our shared commitment to speeding up India’s transition from grey to green hydrogen. The project will support crucial sectors, especially refineries and fertilizers, while also bolstering India’s energy security and climate objectives.”
The initial phase of the project will kick off in Jamnagar, with later phases in Kutch and Bhuj determined by market demand. The initiative is expected to generate significant employment in the region and contribute to India’s clean energy targets. Greenzo Energy’s current order book totals ₹1,400 crore.
