Greenzo Energy announced on Monday that it has secured a multi-crore hydrogen project, raising its total order book to Rs 1,200 crore.
The contract was awarded by the state-owned Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), as stated by Greenzo Energy.
“With the addition of the TANGEDCO green hydrogen project, our order book now totals Rs 1,200 crore,” the company noted.
This initiative will be implemented at the 2×660 MW Ennore SEZ Supercritical Thermal Power Plant owned by TANGEDCO, according to Greenzo Energy.
The company did not disclose the order’s value due to contract agreements.
“Greenzo Energy will set up a hydrogen generation plant with a capacity of 20 normal cubic meters of hydrogen per hour, marking a significant milestone in advancing India’s Green Hydrogen Mission. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months,” said Sandeep Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India Limited.
The electrolyzers for this Tamil Nadu project will be designed and manufactured at the company’s facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
