Sungrow Hydrogen has expanded its global footprint in the green hydrogen sector with shipments of hydrogen systems to multiple international markets, marking a key step in its project delivery efforts, Solarquarter reported.
The company has delivered hydrogen solutions to Oman, Italy and Brazil as part of ongoing clean energy projects.
In Oman, Sungrow Hydrogen supplied 160 MW of alkaline water electrolysis units for a major green ammonia project being developed by ACME Group. The project is seen as a significant step in the country’s transition towards cleaner energy sources.
In Italy, the company is contributing to the country’s first megawatt-scale off-grid solar-to-hydrogen project by providing a 3 MW container-based proton exchange membrane system. The system combines solar power, battery storage and hydrogen production to support industrial decarbonisation and clean transport solutions.
In Brazil, Sungrow Hydrogen has supplied a flexible electrolysis system for a green hydrogen project designed to operate efficiently with variable solar power input. The system meets international standards and supports efforts to blend hydrogen with natural gas, helping advance the country’s hydrogen sector.
The company said these developments highlight its growing role in supporting global clean energy initiatives and expanding hydrogen-based solutions across regions.
