Green Hydrogen Systems A/S and BWSC, an international engineering company and service provider, have signed a strategic collaboration agreement to expand their existing partnership in advancing green hydrogen projects.
This agreement builds upon the ongoing collaboration between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC regarding the installation of the X-Series prototype at GreenLab in Skive, Denmark. Initiated in April 2023, this joint installation project encompassed initial site layout, preparation, and the installation of Green Hydrogen Systems’ 6 MW HyProvide X-Series prototype module, which is now operational and producing green hydrogen.
Through this collaboration, Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC aim to offer complete hydrogen plants with pre-engineered and optimized site layouts based on Green Hydrogen Systems’ HyProvide X-Series module. Targeting green hydrogen projects ranging from 6 to 50 MW in key European markets, this initiative will streamline technical and commercial interfaces between the two companies, facilitating optimized solutions for mid-scale hydrogen and Power-to-X projects. This approach will reduce time and risk during project development and execution, thereby improving overall hydrogen plant economics.
“We are pleased to announce the continuation of our successful collaboration with BWSC. Our joint efforts on the HyProvide X-Series prototype site at Greenlab demonstrate the value of our partnership and collaborative approach. We believe this collaboration will accelerate project development and execution, benefiting green hydrogen initiatives across Europe,” says Søren Rydbirk, Chief Commercial Officer at Green Hydrogen Systems.
“We believe that BWSC’s engineering expertise and construction experience, combined with our commitment to building trusted partnerships and actively contributing to the green transition, complement the technological capabilities of Green Hydrogen Systems. Together, we can achieve more, simplify procurement and construction processes for full hydrogen plants, and reduce associated risks. We are proud to be part of the solution,” says Dimitris Likouressis, Chief Commercial Officer at BWSC.
The collaboration between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC is non-exclusive, enabling both parties to pursue similar partnership agreements with other entities, fostering openness and innovation within the green hydrogen sector.
