Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited has successfully commissioned a 1.4 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at the facilities of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, strengthening the adoption of clean energy within large public sector infrastructure, the company said in a press release.
The rooftop solar installation has been implemented across multiple locations within the NCL premises and executed as a comprehensive EPC project, encompassing design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning. The system has been designed to ensure efficient energy generation, operational reliability, and seamless integration with the existing electrical infrastructure.
In addition to commissioning the project, Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited has also been entrusted with the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the solar power plant, ensuring long-term system performance, reliability, and optimal energy output.
Nitesh Gupta, Managing Director of Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited, said, “The successful commissioning of this rooftop solar project at NCL, Singrauli, reflects our strong execution capabilities and commitment to delivering dependable renewable energy solutions. Being entrusted with both project execution and long-term O&M underscores the confidence placed in our team. We remain focused on supporting India’s clean energy transition through high-quality, performance-driven solar infrastructure.”
The project aligns with NCL’s sustainability initiatives and contributes to reducing carbon emissions while promoting the effective use of rooftop spaces for clean energy generation.
