BCL Industries Limited, along with its subsidiary Svaksha Distillery Limited, has been awarded an additional order to supply 23,054 kiloliters (KL) of ethanol to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs). This order follows a tender issued in January 2025 for the distribution of ethanol at various locations across India. The total value of the order is Rs. 134.87 crore, with the ethanol produced using FCI rice as the raw material.
In a filing to the exchanges, the company confirmed that both BCL Industries Limited and Svaksha Distillery Limited participated in a tender issued by OMCs in January 2025. As part of their regular business activities, the company has been allocated the supply of 23,054 KL of ethanol derived from FCI rice.
The breakdown of the allocation is as follows:
BCL Industries Limited: 14,302 KL of ethanol, valued at Rs. 83.67 crore, utilizing 31,750 metric tons (MT) of FCI rice.
Svaksha Distillery Limited: 8,752 KL of ethanol, valued at Rs. 51.20 crore, utilizing 19,429 MT of FCI rice.
This new order adds to the 182,485 KL of ethanol previously awarded in October 2024, further strengthening the company’s position in the growing ethanol industry and its role in meeting India’s rising ethanol demand.
