Adani Total Gas, Jio-bp partner to enhance quality fuel offerings

Adani Total Gas and Jio-bp, the mobility brand of Reliance BP Mobility, announced a new collaboration on Wednesday aimed at reshaping the auto fuel retail landscape for Indian consumers. The partnership was formalized through a joint statement issued by both companies.

As part of the agreement, selected Adani Total Gas fuel stations will begin offering Jio-bp’s high-performance liquid fuels, including petrol and diesel. In return, selected Jio-bp outlets will incorporate Adani Total Gas’ CNG dispensing units, specifically within the Geographical Areas (GAs) where Adani Total Gas is authorized to operate. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the availability of quality fuels for transport users across the country.

Adani Total Gas, a joint venture between the Adani Group and TotalEnergies, is a major player in India’s city gas distribution (CGD) sector, supplying natural gas to residential, commercial, industrial, and transport consumers. The company also offers Compressed Biogas (CBG), EV charging solutions, and LNG for the transportation sector.

Meanwhile, Jio-bp — a joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp — has built a strong presence in the mobility sector, offering fuel retail, low-carbon energy alternatives, and modern convenience stores as part of its portfolio.

“This collaboration reflects our shared ambition to provide customers with a wider range of high-quality fuels. Jio-bp has always focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience, and through this partnership, we can capitalize on each other’s strengths,” said Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp.

Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of Adani Total Gas Ltd., echoed the sentiment: “Our shared vision is to provide a comprehensive fuel offering at our outlets. This partnership enables us to make better use of our combined infrastructure to enhance both the experience and offerings available to customers.”

The agreement applies to both existing and upcoming outlets of the two companies. Currently, Adani Total Gas operates 650 CNG stations, while Jio-bp has a network of 2,000 fuel retail outlets.

This alliance marks a key step forward in both companies’ efforts to drive sustainable growth and offer innovative solutions in the Indian fuel retail sector.
