NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) said its step-down subsidiary, Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited, had commissioned another 50 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, taking the cumulative solar component of its round-the-clock renewable energy project to 150 MW.
In a disclosure to the BSE and the NSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company said the newly added capacity was the third part of the solar component under its 100 MW RE Round The Clock (RTC) project in Rajasthan. The capacity was declared on commercial operation with effect from 00:00 hours on July 31, 2026, the filing stated.
The project is being developed by Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture of NGEL, according to the filing.
With this addition, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group will rise to 10,836.56 MW from the current level of 10,786.56 MW, the company said.
NGEL, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, trades on the NSE under the symbol NTPCGREEN and carries the BSE scrip code 544289. The disclosure was signed by Deepak C S, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
