Solarworld Energy Solutions has secured a letter of award worth Rs 725.33 crore from NTPC Renewable Energy for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 250 MWac grid-connected solar photovoltaic project, reports Energetia India.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the project is scheduled to be completed during the 2026–27 financial year.
The latest order adds to a series of contracts won by Solarworld in recent months. In July 2025, the company received an EPC order from NTPC Renewable Energy for a 325 MW solar PV project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Earlier, in April 2025, Solarworld won a 200 MW project in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s auction for 500 MW/1,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems, quoting a tariff of Rs 2.80 lakh per MW per month. In January 2025, the company also secured a 125 MW/250 MWh project in Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam’s auction at a tariff of Rs 2.21 lakh per MW per month for standalone battery storage capacity.
The company had raised around Rs 490 crore through its initial public offering in September 2025, which strengthened its financial position to support project execution and expansion.
