Tata Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital services, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DIYguru, India’s premier online learning platform for Electric Vehicles (EVs), Embedded Systems, and future mobility technologies. This collaboration, through Tata’s renowned iGETIT platform, aims to equip engineers and professionals with industry-relevant skills in areas such as Product Design and Development, EV technologies, Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and AUTOSAR—aligned with India’s rapidly transforming mobility ecosystem.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Manish Kohli, Global Head & Vice President – EdTech at Tata Technologies, and Mr. Avinash Singh, CEO of DIYguru.
Tata Technologies’ iGETIT platform delivers world-class learning solutions tailored for engineers in automotive product development, embedded systems, and digital manufacturing. By combining this with DIYguru’s hands-on, EV and hardware-focused training programs, the partnership aims to develop a skilled engineering workforce ready to meet the demands of India’s next-generation mobility needs.
“Tata Technologies has consistently led efforts to prepare engineers for the future of product development,” said Mr. Kohli. “Through this partnership with DIYguru, we will provide practical, industry-focused training in EVs and SDVs via our iGETIT platform, enabling professionals to drive innovation in the mobility space.”
Key Objectives of the Partnership:
- Support specialized training programs in EVs, ADAS, SDVs, and AUTOSAR conducted by DIYguru.
- Combine iGETIT’s global digital content with DIYguru’s hands-on EV and embedded systems training.
- Create job-ready engineers for OEMs and Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
- Bridge the gap between academia and industry using real-world automotive use cases and capstone projects.
As part of the collaboration, DIYguru students enrolling in certification and postgraduate programs will gain exclusive one-year access to curated iGETIT learning paths in areas like EVs, Embedded Systems, and Automotive Product Development. Tata Technologies will deliver the digital curriculum, certifications, and ensure quality standards through its iGETIT platform. DIYguru will complement this with instructor-led sessions, hands-on lab training, project guidance, and EV prototyping experience.
“Partnering with Tata Technologies and the iGETIT platform is a significant milestone for DIYguru,” said Mr. Avinash Singh. “It enables us to integrate our EV training strengths with Tata’s global skilling framework, helping build the engineering talent required for India’s evolving mobility landscape.”
This initiative supports the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Skill India missions by fostering a self-reliant engineering ecosystem prepared for the rise of EVs, autonomous systems, and smart manufacturing.
