World Future Energy Summit 2025 opens in Abu Dhabi

The World Future Energy Summit 2025 officially opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, Masdar, as part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). This three-day summit is poised to be a key platform for global collaboration, innovation, and action, bringing together leaders to shape the future of energy and sustainability.

As the flagship event of ADSW, the summit gathers over 13 heads of state and 140+ ministers and government officials, as well as business and technology leaders, all focused on accelerating energy transitions and promoting circular economies. The summit aims to unlock up to USD 10 trillion in economic opportunities through advancements in clean energy and sustainable development.

Over the course of the event, attendees will engage in 34 specialized sessions featuring more than 70 expert speakers. The discussions will highlight how technological innovation, including the application of artificial intelligence (AI), can drive a resilient, sustainable, and inclusive future.

Set in a region at the forefront of energy transformation, the summit reflects the UAE’s commitment to prioritizing renewable energy solutions like solar power. The event is expected to draw more than 30,000 participants, including high-ranking government officials, industry executives, and sustainability advocates from around the world.

The World Future Energy Summit will showcase cutting-edge advancements in solar energy, AI, climate technologies, circular economy solutions, green financing, and sustainable urban development. Attendees can explore more than 400 exhibits from leading companies offering groundbreaking innovations in solar, clean energy, eMobility, water management, and waste solutions.

Additionally, the summit will feature seven vertical conference streams, providing in-depth insights into critical sectors such as Solar & Clean Energy, Water, EcoWASTE, Sustainable Cities, Green Finance, eMobility, and pathways to achieving global climate goals, including limiting global warming to 1.5°C. The event will provide ample opportunities for networking and fostering collaboration to drive meaningful action in the fight against climate change.
