Uzbekneftegaz advances SAF project after talks with international partners

In a move to advance green energy in the country, Uzbekistan’s state-owned energy company, Uzbekneftegaz, has held a new round of talks with international partners to develop a project for producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), reports UZ Daily.

The discussions included representatives from the companies Air Products and Vision Invest. Together, the groups reviewed the project’s future, agreeing on major technical and organizational details and setting priorities for their next phase of work.

A key part of the talks was focused on incorporating innovative, eco-friendly technologies and putting sustainable energy solutions to practical use within Uzbekistan’s fuel sector.

After the meeting, all sides agreed to move to the next stage of their partnership and to continue working together to make the Sustainable Aviation Fuel project a reality.
