By May 2024, there were 77 active manufacturers of densified biomass fuel, with a combined production capacity of 13.32 million tons per year. These manufacturers employed a total of 2,429 full-time equivalent workers.
In May 2024, these manufacturers purchased 1.67 million tons of raw biomass feedstock, produced 0.91 million tons of densified biomass fuel, and sold 0.84 million tons of densified biomass fuel. It is important to note that feedstock purchases do not necessarily align with production figures for the same reporting period.
