Terra Innovatum Srl, a company specializing in micro-modular nuclear reactors, and GSR III Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: GSRT), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), have announced the nominees for Terra Innovatum’s Board of Directors, which will be appointed upon the completion of their proposed business combination.
The new Board will include five independent directors:
Ms. Katherine Williams, former CEO of Framatome, nominated as Independent Chair
Mr. Rex Jackson, former CFO of ChargePoint Inc. (NYSE: CHPT)
Dr. Martha Crawford, Operating Partner at Macquarie Group and former EVP of Innovation at Areva (now Orano)
Dr. Michael Howard, Chair of the World Energy Council and former President and CEO of the Electric Power Research Institute
Mr. Peter Hastings, former VP of Regulatory, Quality, and Public Affairs at Kairos Power
Additionally, four Terra Innovatum executives will join the Board:
Dr. Alessandro Petruzzi, Co-Founder and CEO
Dr. Cesare Frepoli, Co-Founder, COO, and Director of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
Dr. Massimo Morichi, Partner, Chief Strategy Officer, and SOLO Safeguards Director
Mr. Guillaume Moyen (MBA), Partner and CFO

Independent Director Highlights:

Williams brings over 40 years of leadership in nuclear energy finance and management, including her tenure as President and CEO of Framatome and CFO roles at DuPont, Westinghouse, and Duke Energy. She holds a B.S. from the College of Charleston and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Rex S. Jackson said, “I’m excited to join Terra Innovatum’s Board and confident in our path to becoming a fully NASDAQ-listed company while scaling the business rapidly.”
Jackson is an experienced finance and legal executive with a track record of raising over $2 billion and leading multiple public offerings and acquisitions. He previously served as CFO of ChargePoint Holdings and held senior roles at Gigamon, Rocket Fuel, and others. He holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from Stanford University.
Dr. Martha J. Crawford stated, “I’m pleased to join Terra Innovatum’s Board, supporting the development of safe nuclear energy as a key sustainable solution. I look forward to helping bring this innovative micro-reactor to market.”
Crawford has over 30 years of experience in energy and technology, serving on several public company boards and advising private equity-backed companies in low-carbon sectors. She earned MS and Ph.D. degrees from Harvard University and an MBA from the French College des Ingenieurs.
Dr. Michael W. Howard remarked, “I’m honored to join Terra Innovatum’s Board and support integrating their solution safely into global electricity infrastructure.”
Howard brings over 40 years of energy sector leadership, including his role as Chair of the World Energy Council and CEO Emeritus of EPRI. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business and Engineering, plus a Ph.D. focusing on advanced AI.
Mr. Peter Hastings shared, “I’m excited to contribute to deploying this innovative technology and its impact on sustainable global development. I look forward to making a meaningful difference on the Board.”
Hastings is a nuclear engineering and regulatory expert with over 40 years’ experience, including leadership roles at Kairos Power and advisory positions for numerous nuclear organizations. He holds a B.S. in nuclear engineering from NC State University and is a registered Professional Engineer.
This newly formed Board aims to leverage its broad expertise to steer Terra Innovatum towards successful commercialization of its micro-modular nuclear reactor technology.
