Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has entered into a five-year strategic partnership agreement and secured its first purchase order from Adani Green Energy, reports The Economic Times.
As per the company’s statement, the order is for a balance of system (BOS) package for three solar power projects at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. It includes the supply of goods and onsite services, with the total value estimated at around ₹1,381 crore.
“With this new order, SWREL’s total order inflow for the financial year has crossed ₹6,450 crore. We continue to see strong demand ahead,” said Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group.
The company also said it is currently working on nearly 6 GW of capacity in the Khavda region, of which 5 GW is expected to be completed within this financial year.
