Sunsure Energy, one of India’s leading providers of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy solutions, has entered into a long-term agreement with Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL) to supply hybrid renewable energy combining solar and wind power.
Under the agreement, Sunsure will supply a total of 19.36 MW of renewable energy to DFPCL, comprising 8.86 MW (13.29 MWp) of solar power and 10.5 MW of wind power. The hybrid energy will be generated from Sunsure’s solar plant in Dhule, Maharashtra, and its wind plant in Jath, Maharashtra, and supplied to DFPCL’s facility in Raigad, Maharashtra.
The wind-solar hybrid project is expected to deliver around 5.5 crore units of renewable energy annually, enabling DFPCL to cut its carbon emissions by over 40,000 tonnes of CO₂ each year — equivalent to planting nearly two million trees over the project’s lifetime. The partnership underscores DFPCL’s commitment to sustainable operations and reducing its environmental footprint.
