Saatvik Green Energy Limited showcases Advanced Solar Manufacturing Solutions at RenewX 2025 in Chennai

Saatvik Green Energy Limited (SGEL), one of India’s fastest-growing solar module manufacturers, participated in RenewX 2025, held from April 23 to 25 at the Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam. The company showcased its cutting-edge solar technology and EPC capabilities, targeting the expanding South Indian renewable energy market.

Saatvik has established itself as a key player in the Indian solar industry, offering a wide range of modules based on polycrystalline, monocrystalline, bifacial, M12, and Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TopCon) technologies. These technologies help reduce energy loss and improve overall efficiency.

At the event, Saatvik presented its N-TopCon and N-TopCon G12R solar modules, available in both monofacial and bifacial variants, suitable for residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. The company also emphasized its turnkey EPC services, which cover engineering, procurement, construction, and operations & maintenance for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

Saatvik is among the top module manufacturers in India by operational solar PV module capacity, with approximately 3.8 GW as of February 28, 2025. It operates three manufacturing units in Ambala, Haryana, covering a combined area of 724,225 square feet, making it one of the largest single-location facilities in the country.

Commenting on the event, Prashant Mathur, CEO of SGEL, stated, “RenewX served as a valuable platform to connect with the rapidly growing solar market in South India. With Tamil Nadu at the forefront of renewable energy adoption, we were pleased to showcase our module range and EPC capabilities.”

Saatvik has a diversified customer base across multiple segments, including large-scale utilities, C&I (commercial and industrial), open access, residential rooftop, and solar pump markets, and sells products across India, North America, Africa, and South Asia.

Key highlights of Saatvik’s participation include:

  • Introduction of N-TopCon modules for various applications
  • Demonstration of EPC project execution expertise
  • Engagement with EPC firms, industrial clients, and developers from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Telangana

An early adopter of advanced technologies like N-type TopCon and Mono PERC in India, Saatvik launched its G12R-based TopCon modules and began commercial production in January 2024. It offers complete solar solutions through its EPC division, which installed 69.12 MW in FY 2024.

The company is also among the few integrated players offering module manufacturing, EPC services, and O&M, and is now planning to set up manufacturing units for solar cells and solar pumps.

Saatvik is a major manufacturer in North India, a region with high solar potential and strategic proximity to Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In FY 2024, its capacity utilization exceeded 80%, compared to the industry average of 60%.

In FY 2023, the company commissioned a 61.42 MW floating solar project in Ramagundam, Telangana, one of India’s largest of its kind. In FY 2024, it completed a 12 MW rooftop solar installation for the Jindal Group, marking one of the largest single rooftop solar projects in the country.
