Renovare Fuels expands leadership team to drive UK and Europe biofuel rollout

Renovare Fuels has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Michael Fishwick as director and Deborah Delaney as head of projects, as the company gears up for a major expansion of its low-emission biofuel technology across the UK and Europe, reports Bdaily.

Both bring decades of experience in the renewable energy sector and will be central to developing new production sites, including a £12 million sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility planned for Craigmore, Northern Ireland. The facility is expected to be operational by 2026.

Michael Fishwick, who has previously collaborated with Renovare Fuels, said joining the company marks an important point in its growth. “Having worked alongside the team for some time, I’m excited to now be part of it. The SAF market is moving quickly, and with strong support from the government, we are at a turning point as we work to become a major producer of sustainable aviation fuel across the UK and Europe.”

Deborah Delaney also expressed her enthusiasm for the role, highlighting the opportunity to contribute to the company’s expansion. “This is a key moment in Renovare Fuels’ journey. I’m looking forward to using my background in renewable energy projects to help deliver on the company’s plans and support its long-term success.”

The appointments come as Renovare Fuels positions itself to scale up operations and play a greater role in the growing market for cleaner aviation fuel alternatives.
