Kotyark Industries Limited, a biodiesel manufacturer, informed on July 2, 2025, that Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena conducted a surprise inspection at its manufacturing facility in Sirohi district, Rajasthan. The visit has raised questions about tax compliance and operational standards at the company’s biodiesel production unit.
According to the company’s regulatory filing with the National Stock Exchange, “Minister Meena conducted a surprise investigation at the Kotyark Industries plant located at F-86 to F-90, RIICO Industrial Area, Swaroopgunj, District Sirohi, Rajasthan. During the visit, certain preliminary observations were made by the officials regarding the company’s operations and allegations related to tax compliance, which we strongly deny.”
In its official statement to the stock exchange, Kotyark Industries emphasized that the company strictly adheres to all applicable laws, including tax regulations, and maintains full transparency in its operations. The company is fully cooperating with the concerned authorities and is looking into the matter. As of now, no formal notice or written communication has been received by the company in this regard.
The company stated that the ministerial visit has not impacted the ongoing manufacturing operations and that the Rajasthan plant continues to be fully operational and functional.
The company also addressed what it described as speculative and unverified information circulating on social media platforms that may not present a true picture of the situation. It requested stakeholders and investors to avoid relying on such information and instead wait for official communications from the company or regulatory authorities.
