Ludhiana: Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has partnered with Partners in Prosperity, New Delhi, to commercialize PAU’s innovative fixed dome-type family biogas plant technology, reported Tribune India.
This technology allows for biogas production with capacities ranging from 1 cubic meter to 25 cubic meters per day (1m3/day to 25m3/day).
The agreement was signed by Dr AS Dhatt, Director of Research at PAU, and Mr Naresh Chaudhary, CEO of Partners in Prosperity. The technology itself was developed by Dr. Sarbjit Singh Sooch, a leading scientist in PAU’s Department of Renewable Energy Engineering.
