Oswal Energies receives first hydrogen electrolyser dispatch from Greenzo Energy as part of Rs 320 crore green hydrogen project

In a significant step toward advancing India’s green energy ambitions, Oswal Energies Ltd. has taken delivery of its first 1 MW electrolyser stack from Greenzo Energy India Ltd., marking the operational start of its ₹320 crore green hydrogen initiative.

The delivery marks the beginning of a 20 MW Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project aimed at supplying clean hydrogen to the chemical and fertiliser sectors. Over the next 12 to 18 months, the initiative will see the commissioning of hydrogen plants with capacities ranging from 0.5 MW to 5 MW, using Greenzo’s domestically developed electrolyser technology.

“This delivery is not just about equipment—it’s about setting the foundation for India’s clean energy future,” said Ratan Bokadia, Managing Director of Oswal Energies. “Our collaboration with Greenzo Energy brings together sustainability and self-reliance to offer industries low-carbon energy solutions.”

The partnership reinforces Greenzo Energy’s growing role in India’s clean energy sector. The company, which manufactures high-efficiency electrolyser systems, has an order book exceeding ₹1,800 crore and serves clients in India and the Middle East.

“Our dispatch to Oswal Energies reflects the strength and momentum of India’s green manufacturing capabilities,” said Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director of Greenzo Energy. “We’re committed to supporting India’s energy transition with cost-effective, locally made hydrogen solutions.”

The alliance leverages Oswal Energies’ engineering and EPC experience alongside Greenzo’s clean-tech innovation, positioning India as a key player in the global green hydrogen value chain.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Oswal Energies is a full-spectrum Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firm operating in the oil, gas, and clean energy sectors. The company has delivered over 250 projects across brownfield and greenfield sites in Asia, Europe, and Africa, with clients including Shell, ExxonMobil, ONGC, Linde, and Cairn Oil & Gas.

Greenzo Energy, meanwhile, is among India’s leading manufacturers of electrolysers and integrated hydrogen systems. The company provides turnkey green hydrogen solutions—including BOT models—and works closely with industries in the chemical, refinery, and mobility sectors to deploy next-generation hydrogen infrastructure. Its mission is to position India as a global hub for green hydrogen technology.
