NTPC commissions 50 MW of Dayapar wind project phase-II in Gujarat

State-run power producer NTPC Limited has commenced commercial operations of 50 MW capacity under the 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-II in Gujarat.

The capacity has been commissioned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. The company informed the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited that the first 50 MW has been declared commercially operational with effect from February 26, 2026.

With the commissioning of this phase, the commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has increased to 9,201.08 MW from 9,151.08 MW.

Following this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has risen to 88,182 MW, while its commercial capacity now stands at 87,102 MW, according to the regulatory filing.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
