Neste has earned the prestigious Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, placing it among the top 1% of companies globally for sustainability performance.
EcoVadis evaluates how effectively a company integrates sustainability into its operations and management, including environmental impact, ethical practices, and transparency. Since its establishment in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world’s largest and most reputable sustainability ratings provider, with a network of over 130,000 assessed companies worldwide.
“We are proud to receive the EcoVadis Platinum Medal,” said Virpi Amoedo, Vice President of Sustainability and Public Affairs at Neste. “This recognition underscores our ongoing efforts to embed sustainability throughout our business practices and management systems.”
Neste showed year-on-year improvement in three of the four assessment areas: Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The company achieved a score of 92/100 in Labor & Human Rights, 75/100 in Ethics, and 81/100 in Sustainable Procurement. In the Environment category, Neste once again secured a perfect score of 100/100.
Neste’s overall rating is equal to or better than 99% of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis, regardless of sector. The assessment is not industry-specific but benchmarks companies across all sectors globally.
