Need to bring startups to boost green hydrogen, says Union Minister Pralhad Joshi

New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized the importance of involving startups in the green hydrogen sector to introduce fresh ideas and engage the youth. Speaking at the curtain-raiser for the second International Conference on Green Hydrogen India 2024, Joshi announced that the event, scheduled to take place from September 11-13, 2024, in Delhi, will feature over 120 exhibitors, reported PTI.

As per news report, Joshi highlighted the need for startups to advance the green hydrogen mission, noting that the sector requires new perspectives and innovative approaches.

The conference aims to support the green hydrogen mission, for which the government has allocated Rs 19,744 crore. The exhibition will showcase over 120 stalls featuring products and technologies related to green hydrogen.

Additionally, the event will feature more than 150 national and international speakers. Regions of interest, including the European Union, Australia, Singapore, and the Netherlands, will be represented with dedicated sessions.
