Hylenr closes pre-series A funding to commercialise Low Energy Nuclear Reactions

HYLENR, an emerging clean energy company leveraging patented Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR) technology to develop scalable, carbon-free industrial heat and power systems, has successfully raised approximately USD 3 million in a strategic Pre-Series A funding round aimed at advancing product commercialisation.

The funding was led by early-stage deep-tech and energy transition investors Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited. Individual backers Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda also joined the round. PwC acted as the transaction advisor, while legal counsel was provided by Samvad Partners.

This capital infusion will help HYLENR transition from pilot projects to commercial rollout, marking a significant step forward in demonstrating LENR’s potential as a practical alternative to fossil fuels. The technology’s promise of high energy amplification and scalable deployment has sparked growing interest among investors and industry stakeholders.

Karan Goshar, Partner at Valour Capital, said, “HYLENR’s LENR platform represents a disruptive shift in how industrial heat and energy are produced. Its scalability and safety, combined with a strong team that blends scientific innovation with business acumen, positions the company to play a pivotal role in the global clean energy transformation. We’re excited to support their journey.”

Siddhartha Durairajan, Chairman and Managing Director of HYLENR, highlighted the significance of recent lab breakthroughs: “We’re seeing energy gain ratios that surpass anything previously recorded in this field. This funding allows us to stay focused on executing our product roadmap. Several government agencies and large corporates are already engaged in early-stage testing of our systems, and we’re now gearing up to scale production and expand internationally.”

CEO and Co-founder Ram Ramaseshan added, “This round validates both our mission and our technology. We’ve progressed beyond proof-of-concept, and now we’re focused on deploying LENR systems to solve real-world industrial energy demands. The new funds will speed up development and help us enter key markets across the U.S., Europe, India, and Japan.”

HYLENR is currently running pilot programs with major government entities and industrial partners, aiming to replace traditional fossil-fuel systems with cleaner, next-generation thermal and electrical energy solutions. The company’s product range spans from 7.2KW units for household use to 1MW systems designed for heavy industry.

Looking ahead, HYLENR is planning a follow-on funding round of USD 25 million, targeting strategic partners and clean energy-focused funds in the U.S. and Europe. The company intends to use the capital to scale R&D, engineering capabilities, and global partnerships. It is actively seeking investors aligned with its vision of positioning LENR as a cornerstone of the post-carbon energy future.

HYLENR’s innovation is driven by its Chief Innovation Officer, Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada—widely respected as the “Missile Man of India” for his work on the Akash missile program—and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Varaprasad.
