Chinese green technology company Envision Energy has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency during President Luiz Inácio Lula’s visit to China. This agreement includes a commitment to deploy hydrogen and ammonia production equipment in Brazil, reports Hydrogen Insight.
Envision Energy also announced plans to construct what it claims will be Latin America’s “first zero-carbon industrial park” in Brazil. This park will primarily focus on producing sustainable aviation fuels derived from biological sources, as well as green hydrogen and ammonia, leading Envision to describe it as a “green oil ecosystem.”
Lei Zhang, Envision’s chairman, stated, “Brazil is very important for the green transition of human society, and it will become the world’s most important green oil production center, because Brazil has the abundant biomass and renewable electricity needed to produce green oil.”
