Infrastructure firm Bondada Engineering has secured a Rs 391.38 crore work order from NTPC Green Energy for a large solar power project in Uttar Pradesh, reports Financial Express.
In a filing to the stock exchanges, the company said the contract covers the engineering, procurement and construction of a 300 MW solar power project being developed by NTPC Green Energy in Lalitpur district.
Bondada Engineering said it will handle the complete scope of work for the project, including design, engineering, site preparation, supply of equipment, insurance, installation, testing and commissioning. The project is expected to be completed within 15 months.
The company said the order reflects its ability to deliver large projects and strengthens its association with major public sector clients, while also expanding its presence in utility-scale solar projects. It added that the contract improves visibility of its order book and supports revenue growth in the medium term.
According to its annual report, Bondada Engineering’s order book stood at Rs 4,137 crore in FY25. The company reported a profit after tax of Rs 115 crore during the year, marking a 149 per cent rise compared to the previous year.
In the September quarter of FY26, Bondada Engineering recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 1,216 crore, nearly four times higher than the same period last year. Profit for the quarter rose to Rs 92 crore, compared with Rs 36 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25.
On the stock market, Bondada Engineering shares opened at Rs 369.95 on Friday and were trading 1.75 per cent higher in intra-day trade at 2:11 pm. The stock has gained 4.56 per cent over the past five trading sessions, though it has fallen 18.6 per cent over the last six months and is down about 40 per cent over the past year.
