Alicia Koch has joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) as its new director of global ethanol export development. Based at the Council’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, Koch will lead the development and execution of the Council’s global ethanol program, focusing on program implementation, public affairs, and building strategic partnerships.
Before joining USGC, Koch served as executive director at Pivot Clean Energy Co., a nonprofit biofuels industry coalition. She also spent over nine years in various roles at POET, the world’s largest biofuels producer.
“Alicia’s extensive experience in the U.S. ethanol industry will greatly enhance the Council’s efforts in ethanol market development, particularly at a time when the demand for biofuel applications such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and clean cooking is growing,” said Ryan LeGrand, president and CEO of USGC.
