Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has brought 307.4 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy projects into operation at Khavda in Gujarat through its step-down subsidiaries, the company said in a regulatory filing, reports Saur Energy International.
With the commissioning of these projects, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has risen to 17,237.2 MW. Based on the required approvals, power generation from these plants has started from January 1, 2026. The projects include a mix of wind and solar installations developed across the Khavda region.
The company has earlier said it is aiming to cross 25 gigawatts (GW) of operational renewable energy capacity by the 2026–27 financial year.
As part of the latest additions, Adani Green has commissioned a 126 MW hybrid wind-solar project through Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, a 75 MW solar power project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited, and a 50 MW hybrid project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited.
The company has also brought several wind power projects online. These include a 31.2 MW wind project through Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited, a 25 MW wind project through Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited, and a smaller 0.2 MW wind project through Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Limited.
Earlier, Adani Green Energy chief executive officer Ashish Khanna said the company remains focused on adding 5 GW of renewable energy capacity. He said the company was on track to achieve this target, with significant capacity expected to be connected during the second half of the financial year.
Khanna had said the company expects additional capacity to come online in the coming months and that, over the next several months, Khavda alone is likely to contribute close to 17 GW of renewable energy capacity as projects continue to be completed and connected.
