ACME Solar secures Rs 2,646.64 crore funding for FDRE project from REC

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has secured Rs 2,646.64 crore in long-term project funding from REC Limited for its ACME Greentech Seventh 450MW/1800MWh Assured Peak Power Project, the company informed stock exchanges on July 16, 2026.

In a filing to the BSE and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the company said the funds would be deployed for the development and construction of the project. REC Ltd will act as the sole financer for the project over a 20-year period.

The power purchase agreement (PPA) for the project was signed with SJVN Limited at a tariff of INR 6.74 per unit for a period of 25 years, the filing showed.

According to the release, the ACME Greentech Seventh Assured Peak Power Project combines multiple renewable energy technologies, including solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), to meet supply obligations while ensuring higher predictability and dispatchability.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited is an integrated renewable energy company with a diversified portfolio of 8,070 MW spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE and hybrid solutions, the company said. Its operational contracted capacity stands at 2,990 MW along with approximately 3.3 GWh of BESS capacity, while its under-construction contracted capacity is 5,080 MW, including around 18 GWh of BESS installation. The company’s under-construction PPA-signed portfolio stands at 3,580 MW.

The company operates an in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) division, which it said allows it to execute projects in a time- and cost-effective manner while maintaining strong operating performance metrics.

The disclosure was filed by Rajesh Sodhi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, and was submitted as a voluntary filing, not classified as an intimation under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
