A major fire broke out at an ethanol manufacturing unit in Odisha’s Subarnapur district on Wednesday night, causing extensive damage to property. The incident occurred at the Mash Bio-Fuels Pvt. Ltd ethanol factory in the Panimura area near Tarbha, according to the news report.
As per the news report by Kalinga TV, the blaze spread rapidly, engulfing large parts of the factory and reducing much of the facility to ashes. The intensity of the fire resulted in significant destruction of infrastructure and equipment.
Local residents, upon noticing the fire, immediately alerted the fire services. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and managed to bring the flames under control after sustained efforts.
Police also reached the site and have launched an investigation into the incident. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
