In a major stride toward advancing India’s clean energy ambitions, Oswal Energies Ltd., a leading EPC company in the oil and gas sector, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Deendayal Port Authority (Kandla-Gandhidham) to develop facilities for Green Hydrogen, Green Methanol, Green Ammonia, and a 100 MLD Desalination Plant under the National Green Energy Initiative.
The Government of India has designated Deendayal Port as one of the strategic hubs for establishing green energy infrastructure. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in the nation’s pursuit of sustainable and energy-secure growth. The project underscores the scale and importance of the Deendayal Port Authority’s green energy initiative, with Oswal Energies taking on a key developmental role.
Under the MoU, Oswal Energies will be responsible for developing green hydrogen generation units, methanol and ammonia conversion plants, and a high-capacity desalination system. The initiative will demonstrate the company’s technological expertise, project execution capabilities, and strong commitment to sustainability. Working in collaboration with domestic and international technology partners, Oswal Energies aims to accelerate India’s transition to clean energy and contribute to achieving the country’s net-zero emissions targets.

The MoU was officially signed and exchanged during India Maritime Week 2025, a flagship event organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, held in Goregaon, Mumbai.
The ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations, including Mr. Dixit Bokadia, Director, and Mr. M. Suresh, Chief Strategic Officer, representing Oswal Energies Ltd.
